SNC have been a lifeline since I moved into Harrow in 2019.  They have helped and encouraged me. They have provided step by step support in getting emergency respite care whilst I had an operation and thereafter from Social Care for six weeks, and they supported us in accessing ongoing respite package for my son who has complex needs from Social care. They support us in preparing for the EHCP for my son and attending MDT meetings regarding the EHCP. They helped me to advocate for myself and my family.

They also invested and empowered and me to walk my walk, to achieve my dreams in starting a community project of my own and they are still on the end of the line when I need them. I achieve it and it’s called The Healing Centre (https://www.thehealingcentre.org.uk/). As a Christian, I had a passion and long-held idea of creating a project reaching out and offering practical support and Christain healing to the community based on God’s words. We recruited skilled volunteers and undertook a 6 weeks pilot program successfully and now looking to turn the project into a registered charity. For this reason, I wanted join the team and become a community champion to help other parents.
